To further improve business transparency and to establish an ethical corporate culture, Samsung Securities solicits reports of employee actions that have resulted in either personal gains at the expense of customers or business partners or financial losses for the Company.

Acquiring an equity stake in an unlisted partner company

Soliciting or offering money or entertainment

Soliciting stocks in connection with IPO deals

Disclosing company secrets or customer information

Unfair treatment of partner companies

Sexual harassment and other indecent behaviors

Accounting irregularities

Dual employment by staff members

Other behaviors in violation of the code of ethics

Types of activity to be reported

1. Cases involving suspected violations of financial regulations under Article 2, Paragraph 7 of the Act on the Corporate Governance of Financial Companies
2. Suspicions of crimes such as embezzlement, breach of trust, extortion, theft, or bribery
3. Failure to implement or negligence in key risk prevention measures such as job separation or mandatory leave
4. Significant violations of internal regulations and procedural compliance related to company operations
5. Deficiencies in internal regulations and procedures that may lead to serious financial incidents
6. Illegal or unjust instructions from superiors related to work duties
7. Personal grievances arising from workplace harassment, including sexual harassment, verbal abuse, or physical violence
8. Any other signs of illegal or improper business practices or incidents

Protection of whistleblowers

Reports can be submitted through the internal reporting system.
The company ensures whistleblower confidentiality, prohibits retaliatory personnel actions, and provides protections such as workplace reassignment upon request, as stipulated in company regulations.
