Coca-Cola, listed in the Gartner top 25 global supply chains many times, has confirmed to join 6th China [New Retail] Smart Supply Chain and Logistics (NR SSCL) Innovation Summit & Awards 2021 (Dec. 14-15th, Shanghai, China) to share case study. 可口可乐认为, 供应链是经济发展重要的底层支撑。

2020年疫情严重时期,深耕中国41年的著名饮料公司可口可乐认为,中国经济发展的新机遇在于供应链升级和数字化创新。
多年来,可口可乐不断深耕供应链管理系统:只生产浓缩糖浆,然后出售给世界各地拥有独家领地的灌装商。其他与可口可乐公司签订区域独家合同的瓶装公司,将浓缩后的产品与过滤水和甜味剂混合,制成罐装和瓶装的成品。然后,装瓶商分销和销售可口可乐的产品到各自的市场。这其中涉及到浓缩液厂、糖供应商、包装物流商、瓶装厂、分销商、大型超市、连锁超市、零售商的网状管理,涉及到采购、制造、分销的关键步骤。
这样的管理系统,使可口可乐逐渐意识到数字化创新是经济发展的新动能,并加深实践。同时,可口可乐不断招募优秀人才,为长远发展增强人才储备,重点关注电商、数字化等领域的人才。
When the epidemic was serious in 2020, Coca-Cola, a well-known beverage company that had been working in China for 41 years, believed that the new opportunities for China's economic development lay in supply chain upgrading and digital innovation.
For years, Coca-Cola has been delving into supply chain management: it produces only concentrated syrup and sells it to bottlers with exclusive territories around the world. Other bottling companies with exclusive regional contracts with Coca-Cola mix the concentrated product with filtered water and sweetener to make canned and bottled finished products. Bottlers then distribute and sell Coca-Cola's products to their respective markets. This involves the network management of concentrate plants, sugar suppliers, packaging logistics providers, bottlers, distributors, large supermarkets, chain supermarkets and retailers, and involves the key steps of procurement, manufacturing and distribution.
Such a management system makes Coca-Cola gradually realize that digital innovation is a new driving force for economic development and deepen its practice. At the same time, Coca-Cola continues to recruit excellent talents to strengthen talent reserve for long-term development, focusing on talents in e-commerce, digitalization and other fields.
