IBM Db2 Event Store is a database solution targeted at data capture and analytics for Internet of Things solutions. Originally released in 2017, it became a service within the IBM Cloud Pak for Data platform in 2020. This service is now deprecated and will be removed from a future version of IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

Customers who own IBM Cloud Pak for Data retain their entitlement for use with the rest of the Cloud Pak for Data platform and its services. For customers who want to replace IBM Db2 Event Store functionality, IBM has containerized options for Red Hat OpenShift, as well as solutions for traditional stand-alone deployments.
