Thrilled to announce that I’ve been admitted to the University of Alabama Honors College! This incredible opportunity will allow me to challenge myself academically, connect with amazing peers, and take full advantage of all the resources and experiences the Honors College has to offer. I’m excited to grow both personally and professionally as I take on this next chapter. Roll Tide! 🐘
Kansas Wesleyan will launch a special scholarship for all Coyote graduates this January, as the university will offer $100 off per credit hour on MBA tuition for those individuals. The scholarship is the second notable offering surrounding KWU’s MBA program, following the announcement of the Saline County MBA Scholarship this fall.

I hadn't realized that the rankings were released already, but...
🎉 Exciting news for my alma mater,
Xavier University of Louisiana
! I am beyond proud to see Xavier ranked #6 in the latest U.S. News & World Report’s Best Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) rankings. As a proud alumna, this recognition means so much to me personally. 💛💚
What makes this year’s rankings even more special to me, as a former U.S. News employee, is their move away from categories such as acceptance rates and alumni giving in calculating rankings. This shift is crucial because historically, alumni giving at HBCUs often can’t compare to larger, more prestigious, or Ivy League universities due to systemic disparities. This outdated approach often resulted in an unfair disadvantage for HBCUs and smaller institutions.
By focusing on what truly matters—like student outcomes and opportunities—U.S. News is moving in the right direction toward highlighting the excellence and impact of institutions like Xavier. This recognition reflects not just the hard work of the students and faculty but also the legacy and importance of HBCUs in providing educational equity and opportunity. 🎓💫
Here’s to the continued success of Xavier and the many HBCUs creating change and nurturing the next generation of leaders! 🖤✊🏽

I am incredibly grateful and deeply honored to announce that I have been selected as the recipient of the Ridge Riley Lion's Pride Award from the Division of Development and Alumni Relations at Penn State University.
This award holds special significance for me, not only because of its prestigious nature but also because of the legacy it represents. Ridge Riley's dedication and commitment to Penn State and the Alumni Association are inspiring. It is truly humbling to be recognized in his name.
I also want to express my gratitude to Anne Riley, Ridge's daughter, whose unwavering support and commitment to Penn State have been an inspiration to me. It has been a pleasure getting to know Anne. Her passion for our alma mater is contagious, and receiving this award with her in mind makes it even more meaningful.
I am incredibly proud to be part of the Penn State family and am grateful for the opportunities it has provided me. My colleagues at the Penn State Alumni Association are the best of the best, settling for nothing less than exceptional.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, thank you to my nominators, and thank you to the division for this incredible honor. We are Penn State! 🔵⚪️
