注意事項：
110年8月4日起，全面實施出進口廠商英文名稱預查及登記線上辦理；另原來規定申請登記英文名稱與其他已登記廠商僅有一般非專業名詞、地名、名詞單複數及詞類變化之差異，不得登記，新制度已予以放寬；此外，貿易署將依據公司或商業登記主管機關提供的資料，更新出進口廠商統一編號、中文名稱、組織、代表人、負責人及地址等資料，廠商不必提出申請變更。
申請出進口廠商英文名稱預查及辦理登記前，應先查詢擬預查及登記之英文名稱，是否已有著名註冊商標在先；出進口廠商若以他人著名註冊商標之文字作為英文名稱登記，經判決侵害商標權而需變更名稱者，應依規定向貿易署辦理變更登記。

Notes：
Starting August 4, 2021, applications for review of English name availability and the registration of importers and exporters will be fully accessible online. The new system has eased requirements. Only a common business word, the use of a plural rather than a singular noun, a different part of speech of a word with the same root, or a place name that is different from the English names of other importers and exporters will be approved for registration. Moreover, the TITA will update the business account number, the Chinese name, organization, representative, person in charge, and address of importers and exporters based on the information provided by the company or the competent authority for business registration. Importers and exporters do not need to apply for changes.
Applicants that previously applied for review of English name availability and registration of the English name of the importer and exporter should first inquire if a well-known registered trademark already exists for the English name that will be pre-inspected and registered. If the importer or exporter uses the text or wording of another well-known registered trademark for registration as an English name, and if it is determined that it infringes on the trademark rights and thus needs to be changed, it shall go through the process for change of registration with the TITA in accordance with the regulations.
