To return expected results, you can:

  • Reduce the number of search terms. Each term you use focuses the search further.
  • Check your spelling. A single misspelled or incorrectly typed term can change your result.
  • Try substituting synonyms for your original terms. For example, instead of searching for "java classes", try "java training"
  • Did you search for an IBM acquired or sold product ? If so, follow the appropriate link below to find the content you need.

You do not need to manually delete these files, since the IBM Spectrum Symphony WEBGUI service will automatically delete the files during shutdown. Also, some Linux distributions will periodically delete files in the /tmp directory. For more details about system-wide automatic cleanup, refer to your Linux distribution manual.

The jar_cache* files in the /tmp directory are temporary files generated by the WEBGUI service. The WEBGUI service generates these files during service  startup and during normal operation. This is normal behavior for running Java applications.
