国际 科创英才 培养项目(SIP)旨在拓展学生的兴趣及专业知识、培养科学研究技能、激发创新创造能力,致力于建立为全球一流高等院校输送英才学生的重点培养机制。SIP项目选拔创新人才,培养领导力,助力学生未来跻身国际一流科学家队伍。

The Science Innovation Program (SIP) aims at broadening students' interests and expertise, developing scientific research skills, and stimulating the spirit of innovation and creativity, with the goal of establishing a focused mechanism of sending talented students to top-tier institutions around the world. The SIP program selects for innovative young researchers and develops leadership skills in preparation of their future professional development as world-class scientists.

Introduction of the School

坐落于海淀区中关村翠湖科技园的清华附中外籍人员子女学校(简称“清香”)由清华附中全面支持教育教学管理,提供从幼儿园到 高中 的具有一流品质的 国际教育 。清香秉承“自强不息、厚德载物”的校训和“德先于智,行胜于言”的校风,以“国际品质、中国根基、清华特色”为办学特色,将“以育人为中心,以学生为主体”作为办学指导思想,提供高质量的中西融合的国际化教育,创新教育体系,培养具有独立思考能力及创新精神的国际化杰出人才。校园占地面积145亩,总建筑面积16.2万平方米。校园设施丰富、功能齐全,包括幼儿园、小学、初中、高中教学楼,两个室内体育馆,一个25米8道游泳馆,标准400米塑胶跑道和标准足球场,两个图书馆,一个千人剧场,三个学生餐厅,一个教工餐厅,一个咖啡厅,一个健身中心、男女两栋学生宿舍楼和一栋 教师 公寓等。

Tsinghua International School Daoxiang Lake (hereafter "Tsingxiang") is under the direct management of Tsinghua University High School,providing the first-class international education from kindergarten to high school. The school adheres to the motto of "Self-discipline and Social Commitment" and the school spirit of "Virtue Precedes Wisdom, Actions Speak Louder than Words. " Tsingxiang takes "International quality, Chinese foundation, and Tsinghua characteristics" as its school characteristics; and "focus foremost on education and students" as the guiding ideology. Tsingxiang provides a high-quality international education integrating China and the West and an innovative education model to cultivate outstanding international talents who are independent thinkers with a creative spirit. The campus covers an area of 145 acres, with a total construction area of 162,000 square meters. The campus has diverse and functional facilities, including kindergarten, primary school, middle school, and high school teaching buildings, two indoor gyms, a 25 metere, 8-lane swimming pool, a standard 400 meter plastic track and a standard football field, two libraries, a theater that accommodates 1000 people, 3 students dinning halls, a faculty dining hall, a cafeteria, a fitness center, dormitories for boys and girls, and an apartment building for students.

Features of Program

科创项目(SIP)旨在让学生探索自己感兴趣的科学领域,了解相关领域的前沿话题;让学生学习相关领域的知识技能,提高科学素养;让学生体验完整的科研过程;激发学生的科研灵感,支持学生的自主创新实验以及协助学生校外科研项目的日常开展。

学生通过入班考核后即可加入SIP项目,SIP项目独立成班,学生按项目分班,由SIP团队统一管理。

SIP项目针对第一年加入SIP的学生开设了特色课程,特色课程共分6个研究领域,分别是:有机化学、海洋生物、生理与解剖、工程力学、人工智能和地球圈层系统。学生需从以上6个领域中选择自己感兴趣的2个进行为期一年的学习。

The Science Innovation Program (SIP) helps students to explore the scientific fields that are appealing to them, learning the cutting-edges of current research. Students will be equipped with essential research skills by going through complete research processes. SIP encourages students to design their own experiments and supports students’ extracurricular studies in laboratories outside the school.

Students may join SIP after passing the Qualifying Exam and be sorted to a SIP homeroom based on their research fields.

First-year SIP students will take specialized courses from six fields: organic chemistry, marine biology, physiology & anatomy, engineering mechanics, artificial intelligence and earth sciences. Students will take 2 out of the 6 courses provided for one year.

从入项目的第二年起,学生会根据自己的兴趣方向,选定实验室导师,进行该实验室方向的核心项目式课程。核心课程会先基于第一年的领域课程进行深入的项目式学习,然后会根据学生的想法和需求,进行个性化的探索和研究。

Starting from the second year, students will choose a lab mentor based on their interest and take core laboratory course. The core courses cover more advanced topics through project-based learning and offer specialized research per students’ ideas and requests.

有机与应用化学实验室配有实验台、通风橱、准备室、气瓶间以及紧急淋浴系统等基础建设,满足分析化学和有机化学的实验条件。实验室现有设备包括高效液相色谱仪、气质联用色谱仪、红外光谱仪、紫外分光光度计、熔点仪等尖端设备。目前,该实验室的主要研究方向为潜在药物的合成方法及构效关系的探索、小分子化合物的鉴定、分析仪器的使用及维护和协助其他实验室进行样品的检测。

The Organic and Applied Chemistry Laboratory is equipped with lab benches, fume hoods, preparation rooms, gas cylinder rooms, and emergency shower systems to meet the conditions of analytical and organic chemistry experiments. The laboratory equipment includes high performance liquid chromatograph, gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry, infrared spectrometer, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, melting point meter and other cutting-edge equipment. At present, the main research directions of this laboratory are the exploration of synthetic methods and structure-activity relationships of potential drugs, the identification of small molecules, the use and maintenance of analytical instruments, and the assistance of other laboratories in the testing of samples

生物技术实验室

Biological Technology Laboratory

清香生物技术实验室配有超净工作台、零下八十度冰箱、凝胶电泳仪、微生物培养箱、冷冻高速离心机等设备,可支持大学级别的基因工程与细胞培养研究。实验室开展的研究项目有探究土壤微生物最佳生长条件,天然产物的提取与鉴定, 工程菌的基因编辑与诱导表达及细胞培养与药物测试等。

Biological Technology of THISDL is equipped with clean bench, -80 refrigerator, electrophoresis apparatus, microbiological incubator, high-speed frozen centrifuge, the lab offers college level research opportunities on genetic engineering and cell culture. Projects designed include investigating the optimal growing conditions for soil microbes, extraction and identification of natural products, the genetic engineering and inductive expression of engineered bacteria as well as cell culture and drug testing.

海洋生物实验室

Marine Biology Laboratory

海洋生物实验室以珊瑚缸和礁石缸为特色,带领学生探索海洋生态系统的组成与功能。同时,学生还会通过解剖对比鱼类的身体结构差异并对其作出分类与鉴定。通过项目式学习,学生将探究温度对水生生物呼吸速率的影响、环境酸碱度对甲壳纲生物方解石沉淀速率的相关性、珊瑚幼体人工繁育的最佳条件等。项目式学习鼓励学生自己提出问题并设计实验、收集数据、进行分析、得出结论。

Marine Biology laboratory features on the coral reef tank and rocky reef tank and lead students to explore the composition and function of marine ecological system. In the meantime, students will compare the morphological differences of fishes through dissection, as well as their identification and classification. Marine Biology Lab offers project-based studies, including investigating the effect of temperature on the aquatic organisms’ respiration efficiency, the effect of pH on the formation of the shell and exoskeletons of crustaceans and the optimal conditions of raising coral larva in captivity. Project-based study encourages students to ask questions out of curiosity and to design experiment, collect data to draw conclusions.

物理与天文实验室

Physics and Astronomy Laboratory

物理和天文实验室将为学生提供探索物理学的仪器、材料和空间。学生们将在此了解物理学家们如何测量从一杯咖啡到宇宙中的一切。在这里,想象力与聪明才智将会碰撞出火花。期盼未来的物理学大师会在这里诞生!研究和项目将集中在以下方面:一、以新国际单位制基本单位和相关物理量计量;二、物理知识和理论的工程应用;三、科学哲学和技术史研究。

Physics and Astronomy Lab will provide students with instruments, materials, and space for exploring the contents of physics. Students are going to explore how the world measures everything from coffee to the cosmos. Here, imagination makes collisions with talent. New supernovas in physics are about to come. Research and projects will focus on the following aspects: 1. Measurement in New SI base unit and related physical quantities. 2. The engineering application of physics knowledge and theories. 3. Research about the philosophy of science and the history of technologies.

地球与环境科学实验室

Earth and Environmental Sciences Laboratory

地球与环境科学实验室主要关注地质年代学、古生物学、地层学、气候物理、社会/自然复杂系统的计算机建模、水文和地貌领域的前沿问题。一个计划中的课题是研究中国旧石器时代遗迹的古环境(包括植被、温度、降水等)。项目目标是综合分析这些遗迹的古环境特征以求更多地了解这些早期人类。另一个可能的项目是给北京周边的山地公园设计更可持续的、环境友好的徒步路线。

The Earth and Environmental Lab focuses on cutting-edge issues in areas of geochronology, paleontology, stratigraphy, climate physics, modeling of social/natural complex systems, hydrology, and geomorphology. One program is to study the paleoenvironment (vegetation, temperature, precipitation, etc.) of some paleolithic archeological sites in China. It is aiming to synthesize the characteristic environments of these paleolithic sites to know more about those early homo species. Another possible program is to design more sustainable and environment-friendly hiking trails for mountainous parks in Beijing.

人工智能实验室

Artificial Intelligence Laboratory

人工智能实验室配备了高性能计算机、专业摄像头以及算力非常强大的显卡集群等设备,为学生提供了优越的科研环境。学生们不仅可以学习到高等数学、线性代数、概率论等难度较大的数学知识,同时还会学习到他们感兴趣的、相关领域的专业知识。目前,该实验室聚焦于人工智能范畴中,当下非常流行的机器学习领域,通过各种项目让学生深刻理解相关算法背后的原理。

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory is equipped with high-performance computers, professional cameras and powerful GPU clusters to provide an extraordinary scientific research environment for the students. Students will not only learn necessary Mathematical preliminaries; they will also gain knowledge on some specific fields that interest them. So far, the lab will be specifically focusing on machine learning and will reveal the mechanism of some of the most charming algorithms for the students. With properly and elaborately designed projects, students will understand and be able to apply these algorithms to their own research.

敬瑶

Jing Yao

敬瑶,有机与应用化学实验室导师。美国埃默里大学(Emory University)化学专业博士。从事小分子药物合成多年,致力于研究可用于神经退行性疾病(帕金森病)治疗的NMDA受体的GluN2C/D选择性拮抗剂,拥有丰富的实验室工作经验和专利申请经验。

Dr. Jing Yao, mentor of Organic and Applied Chemistry Laboratory. She got her Ph.D. in chemistry from Emory University. She has been engaged in the synthesis of small molecule drugs for many years, and has been developed a class of GluN2C/D-selective antagonists of the NMDA receptors for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson's disease), and has extensive laboratory work and patent application experience.

李治飞

Allen Li

李治飞,生物技术实验室与海洋生物实验室导师。本硕毕业于加州大学圣迭戈分校海洋生物学专业。研究领域为海洋细菌次生代谢物中抗癌药物和抗生素的提取。

Allen Li, mentor of Biological Technology Laboratory and Marine Biology Laboratory. He obtained his bachelor's and master's degree in marine biology at UC San Diego. He studied the extraction and purification of anti-tumor agents and antibiotics from the secondary metabolites of marine bacteria.

马清华

Ma Qinghua

马清华,物理与天文实验室导师。本科毕业于武汉大学工程力学系,研究生毕业于英国约克大学工程管理系。本科期间曾担任国家级大学生科研创新训练项目负责人。拥有多年IBDP和AP课程授课经验,国际竞赛课程优秀指导教练。物理学相关专业论文国际评审经验。

Ma Qinghua, mentor of Physics & Astronomy Laboratory. Successively graduated from Wuhan University (BE of Engineering Mechanics) and University of York (MS of Engineering Management). Head of a national level research and innovation training program for college students during his undergraduate studies. Years of experience in teaching IBDP and AP physics. Excellent coach for international physics competition. Experience in international peer review of papers related to physics.

赵向明

Zhao Xiangming

赵向明,地球与环境科学实验室导师。肯特州立大学地质学学士,布朗大学地球、环境和行星科学系硕士。硕士研究方向为利用生物化学代用指标(颗石藻烯酮不饱和度)揭示地质M2时期不同区域海水表面平均温度的变化史;对气候周期性变化与地球轨道周期性旋回的耦合问题有深入研究,在跨学科研究课题方面有独特经历和经验。

Zhao Xiangming, mentor of the Earth and Environmental Sciences Lab. He received his B.A. in Geology from Kent State and M.A. in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences from Brown University. His research at Brown focuses on the use of biochemical marker (cocolithphore's alkenone unsaturation) to reveal the history of changes in mean sea surface temperature in different regions during the M2 period; he has an in-depth study of the coupling of climate cyclicity with the periodic changes in the Earth's orbital parameters, and has unique experience in interdisciplinary research topics.

王汝杰

Ryan Wang

王汝杰,人工智能实验室导师,华北电力大学(北京)测控技术与仪器专业硕士,加拿大滑铁卢大学机械工程硕士。曾研究双目视觉惯导以及3D激光点云物体识别。

Ryan Wang, mentor of the Artificial Intelligence Lab. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in the major of Measuring & Control Technology and Instrumentations in the North China Electric Power University and his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in the University of Waterloo. His research was on the binocular vision-aided inertial navigation system in SLAM and the object recognition from the 3D Lazer point cloud.

招生对象及考核流程

Target Students and the Assessment Process

SIP现面向全国招生,如果你在2023-2024学年即将就读9年级或10年级,且热爱科学、基础扎实、学有余力、肯于坚持并敢于突破,那么欢迎加入稻香湖学校!

SIP is now open for application nationwide. Students in grade 9 or 10 in the school year 2023-2024 who love science and enjoy doing research are welcome to join us!

SIP项目会在每年的6月、8月和次年的1月进行考核。对于已经在清香就读的学生,考核结果主要取决于以下三个方面:学生笔试(40%)、学生面试(30%)及教师评价(30%)。对于参加考核的新生,考核结果主要取决于学生笔试(55%)和学生面试(45%)。

SIP will hold Qualifying Exams on June, August, and January of the next year. For current THISDL students, the exam comprises 3 parts: written examination (40%), students interview (30%) and comments of teachers (30%). For new students, the exam includes the written examination (55%) and student interview (45%).
