EdgeWise integrates seamlessly with Autodesk® Revit® via a dedicated import plugin, automatically installed with EdgeWise. This integration allows users to export models from EdgeWise directly into Revit as native Revit family objects, ensuring smooth transitions from point cloud processing to design. Additionally, EdgeWise supports exporting to COE, STEP, and DXF formats, preserving model intelligence, or providing simple geometry as needed. These export options enable flexible workflows for various design platforms, enhancing data consistency and collaboration.
What laser scanners work best with EdgeWise?
EdgeWise is compatible with a variety of industry-standard laser scanners, supporting both structured and unstructured file types. For structured workflows, it supports Trimble (.TZF), FARO (.FLS), Leica (.PTG), Z+F (.ZFS, .ZFPRJ), DotProduct (.DP), Gexcel (.RGP), Recap (.RCP), and other formats like .PTX and .E57. For unstructured workflows, EdgeWise supports .E57 (Unstructured), .PTS, .RCP, .RCS, and .XYZ formats.
