The program I am using brings up this dialog box to allow the user to select which folder to move files into. I would like to select an external hard drive. My Computer is not showing up in the Browse For Folder dialog box either. It was there before.
Now the only folders I can choose are those in my personal user folder. Is there a way to add back My Computer to this selection dialog?

Solved! Apparently if there are too many folders (and possibly too many icons) on the Desktop, the Browse For Folder dialog can't handle all the items and gives up. Clean up the desktop and the all the normal functionality returns to the Browse For Folder
dialog box.
