國中數學教師在進行多面體的組合單元時,通常會用多面體展開圖或百利智慧片來輔助教學,但準備教材比較費時。此外,當學生遇到立體幾何圖形的題目就只能靠自己去想像。基於摺紙數學及計算摺紙的概念,本研究設計一套建置於Android平台上的立體摺紙系統,在平面的環境下可以畫出任意形狀的多邊形,再以3D的方式呈現或操作,可以從不同角度看到完整的摺疊過程。這工具的目標是要加強學生對立體幾何的性質與概念的理解,幫助解決有關幾何與摺紙的題目。

Based on origami math, this research has developed a polyhedron folding system on an Android device. The system allows us to draw free-form 2D polygons in a 3D environment for folding operations and renderings, producing geometric objects that can be seen from different perspectives. By providing this paper folding tool, we hope users can practice object folding and enhance their geometry skills, knowledge and interest. This paper focuses on how to solve geometry problems with the features of our paper folding software. Future research needs to design empirical experiments to evaluate what students actually learn when using this tool.
