The first day of the new semester! After a refreshing break for the Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival, it’s time to kick off Semester 2 with energy and excitement! The day was filled with fun and engaging cultural activities, traditional costumes, and wonderful Lion Dance 🦁 performances. Our students also dove into rehearsals for the upcoming Chinese Primary Show — an event that will showcases their creativity and dedication to the rich cultural heritage of China.
Really looking forward to watching the growth of our students’ talent and teamwork shine throughout the semester. Here's to another amazing journey ahead as we continue to learn, grow, and embrace new opportunities!

Staff wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at
Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science
. As is tradition, the Chinese New Year staff function is one of the highlights of the wellbeing calendar. A huge thank you to the staff wellbeing team for their dedication and hard work in organising this event. Throughout the year, the wellbeing team strives to make our school a better place for all staff members.
It’s the homestretch now… but it wouldn’t be a true semester at HDSAS without a grand finale! This semester comes in the form of the CCA Showcase 2025: Sparking Your Potential!
The whole school will participate in exhibits, activities and performances across a half day of fun filled CCA content. We are highlighting 120+ of our CCA’s including both teacher and student led options!
It’s been a pleasure to work with the whole school leadership and admin team to bring this together on Monday!… And what’s that…? You want more? Well, I suppose I can throw in our final House Event of Semester One!
House Mastermind will launch on Monday seeing our HOH’s and Teaching staff having to play their part in earning merits for their houses cheered on by the very students also playing the games! What a twist!
