I have a Zotac ZBox that came with an OEM of Win10 Home N installed.  I have upgraded the SSD, and used Windows Recovery Disk to transfer the OS installation from the original SSD to the replacement.  It ran all its updates and upgrades for a day, appears to be fully updated and working.  It has a USB Logitech HD Webcam C310 plugged in, the driver is up to date.

I then discovered the lack of the media player, and installed the Media Feature Pack for Win10 Home N.

If I open the Camera app, all I get is an error message:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The specified module could not be found.  (Excep_FromHResult 0x8007007E)

I tried installing Skype to see if it has any issues, and although the window initially opens, it closes almost immediately.  (I don't know if it's related, but there's an error in the Event Viewer saying Skype failed to register with a DCOM provider).

I have run the sfc /scannow command, and it found no problems.

Although the Media Feature Pack claims it is definitely installed, I notice that Media Player is still not installed, so it makes me wonder if there's a component missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Got it in the end.  It appears the default link for the Media Feature Pack from the Microsoft Support website takes you to one intended for an older build of Win10.  It installs successfully without telling you that it is the wrong one, and then insists that it has already been installed.

Once I located the correct version of the pack for the correct build number of Win10 and installed it, the Camera app and Skype started working fine, and Windows Media Player appeared correctly.
