I have installed Word perfect 2021 in windows 10 64-bit, I am getting below error when I run the application
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {3D24361A-2978-41AD-ABBB-F58C012DCD9B} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE))
Can anyone help with the solution to this error ?

Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?
Meanwhile, I would like to suggest that you perform the methods below and check if the issue persists:
Method 1: Edit Component Services
Press
Windows
+
R
keys to open
Run
command, type
dcomcnfg
and tap
OK
to open Component Services
In the console tree, click the
Computers
folder, right-click the computer for which you want to enable or disable DCOM, and then click
Properties
.
Click the
Default Properties
tab.
Make sure that
Enable Distributed COM on this computer
is checked
Click
Apply
then go to
COM Security
tab at the top
Click on
Edit Default
for
Access Permissions
and
Launch and Activation Permissions.
Make sure the following accounts exits with Allow Access permissions.
Anonymous
Everyone
Guests
Interactive
Network
System
Click on
OK
to save and restart the PC
Method 2: New User Account
I would also suggest you to create a new user account with administrative rights and check if the issue persists. Creating a new user account will not remove any data, app or settings from your current user account, this is just a troubleshooting steps to eliminate the possibility of user profile corruption. Thanks Vineet.
There are no recent changes except some recent security updates to microsoft office, excel and outook.
I have checked above methods, no luck same error. I'm not getting this error when I use wordperfect X7 in my local but I am not able to use wordperfect X7 as my deployment server OS is Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Standard, as per WP X7 deployment guide Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Standard which is not supported with wordperfect X7. So I have installed trial version of WordPerfect 2021 to check if that works in our environments but seeing above COM reference issue both in my local and deployment server.
